Art & Wonder Festival is a free event at Belmont University showcasing art and music that celebrates the Christian story. Experience live music, film screenings, art exhibitions, hands-on art activities, kids zone, food trucks, and more!
Art has a unique ability to inspire, connect, and invite us into stories that shape who we are. On Saturday, September 26, the Creative Arts Collective for Christian Life & Faith (CAC) invites Nashville and its surrounding communities to experience the beauty of the Christian story through a day filled with creativity, music, film, and family-friendly fun at Art & Wonder Festival.
Taking place on the campus of Belmont University, Art & Wonder Festival is a free, all-day event designed to welcome people of all ages. Whether you’re an art connoisseur, a music lover, a film enthusiast, or simply looking for a meaningful way to spend the day with family and friends, the festival offers something for everyone.
Throughout the day, guests can explore inspiring art exhibitions featuring works that reflect themes of faith, beauty, hope, and imagination. Visit the Peace by Pie installations at Leu Art Gallery. Walk the Architecture of Prayer in Gallery 121. Attend author talks in the Leu Center for the Visual Arts. Experience the Portrait Lab with Jeremy Cowart. Take a tour of the Frederick Hart Studio Museum. See live musical performances presented by the Gospel Music Association (GMA). Visit the art gallery inside the Fisher Center for the Performing Arts. Attend a songwriter showcase at the Gallery of Iconic Guitars. Stop by the Windrider Theater Film Screenings and Conversation. See the Kids Zone for curated, hands-on art activities. And don’t miss the vendors and food trucks along West Belmont Blvd.
More than a collection of performances and exhibitions, Art & Wonder Festival is an opportunity to gather with others who appreciate the intersection of faith and the Arts. Come celebrate the ways creativity can point us toward beauty, encourage meaningful conversations, and remind us of the hope found in the Christian story. With interactive experiences throughout the festival inviting visitors to become creators themselves, guests of every age can engage their creativity, making the festival more than just an opportunity to observe art—it’s an invitation to participate in it.
Presented by the Creative Arts Collective for Christian Life & Faith (CAC), Art & Wonder Festival reflects the CAC’s commitment to fostering artistic excellence while creating spaces where artists and audiences can connect in meaningful ways. Through events like the festival, the CAC seeks to cultivate a vibrant community where people can encounter inspiring creative work, engage with one another, and celebrate the transformative power of the arts.
Admission to the festival is free, and don’t forget to pick up a free t-shirt while supplies last! Bring your friends, invite your neighbors, and come discover a day filled with creativity, conversation, and celebration at Art & Wonder Festival.
